Congratulations to the A level Class of 2025 on another set of excellent examination results!  We are incredibly proud of the efforts of all of our students and enjoyed celebrating their results and also the destinations that these results will unlock.  Two of our students are heading off to Cambridge University to study Natural Sciences and History and two students will begin their Medicine degree in the Autumn.  Other students are off to some really exciting universities studying subjects ranging from Accounting and Finance at Liverpool to Fine Art at Newcastle.  We were also delighted that students are beginning some really prestigious degree apprenticeships; a growing and very competitive field.  Headteacher, Matthew Dean, commented "We are incredibly proud of all our students. Their achievements reflect not only academic excellence but also the strength of character and determination that we nurture here at Poynton High School.
